The premise of this event (league style) is great, but the current format needs a major reworking. The idea of grinding through 6 days of "regular season" and then a couple quick races to seven (playoffs) is way too unbalanced, especially when switching to winner break, which is just idiotic...

Meaningless to whom? Tour players who earn ranking points all year to earn a spot (like Oscar)? Players on team USA and Europe who would like another 20k in the bank? Fans who spend money to travel from all over to attend the event (yourself included)? Matchroom's bottom line? Fans watching...

We have a real opportunity to win this match....pressure might shift a bit to euros if we can! Gotta love how loose USA is looking

Agreed SVB hasn't done much either (the two dry breaks today in doubles didn't help), but it seems to me Fedor has made a mess of some solid opportunities which Shane has not really had the chance to do.
