Thanks! I do see your point about trying out the tighter pockets, house advantage ;)
Does the community concur about the non-existence of a Tournament Edition Gold Crown IV?
Sorry to second guess, but I am just making sure. :embarrassed2:
That looks like a 3 to me, the small counters are a good indicator, I & II have large counters and IVs don't have any counters.
People redo the casting all the time.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have not seen the table yet I am going to look at it tomorrow, but I was told that the pockets have been tightened. I was just wondering if you could un-shim the pockets? The person selling it is not the original owner and he doesn't know much.
I am looking at a gc iv and was wondering if the GC4 had a factory tournament edition, or did this start with the GC5? If it was an option on a GC4, how was it different, besides tighter pockets with subrail extensions?
Also, if a GC4 Tournament Edition did exist, did the tournament edition...
So I am looking at a gold crown I right now and the only place I have room for it is upstairs. I know my floor can/will sag a little bit so I would be interested in getting some leg levelers instead of the non adjustable feet it is comes with. I found them at classic billiards, not cheap but I...
Is there any cult following for these tables? Also what would this table retail for today? Are there any markings on the table that I should be aware of to verify the table? Location of serial number? Also can I tell when this table was manufactured? Thanks for all the help,
Ed
I found this doing some research:

It talks about how Connelly was using a nose height of 1 5/16"s instead of 1 7/16"s on its rail cushions. Unless I misread the post.
This is a nine footer, is there any sort of cult following with these tables? The reason why I ask is because if I ever want to sell this table, would it be easy or real difficult, what is the demand like?
Can you tell for sure? Also could you order an Ultimate from the factory de-badged like this? Supposedly the guy who is selling it bought it from someone who ordered a whole game room with matching bar and pool table. Is this table worth looking into? I saw that newer Ultimates suffer from an...
Help ID Table Possible Connelly Chiricahua Ultimate No Rail Marking
Can some one help me identify this table? I am looking at a used pool table right now that I think it is a maple Connelly Chiricahua Ultimate with 2" slate but I am not 100% sure since I have never seen one before. The only...
Quick question, why would I buy these from you when I can get them on amazon for about $100 less? I am not trying to be a jerk but I can't figure it out.
Thanks
