    This is the way i did mine, also i called Starrett and had them to put a 100 thousands dial on a 50 thousands Gage, that way when you take .005 that's what you take is .005 on a regular Gage if you dial .005 you will take .010, just my 2 cents worth.. Good Luck.

    Yes i know what you are saying Kim, but my DC motor has center off switch and i feel no drag in center off position. And my AC motor is the original with the step down pulley but i had to put it in the 3 larger pulley so i could complete the job the 1 and 2 didn't have enough power, starting...
