Kevin Trudeau...of IPT Tour infamy? I would be interested to hear his thoughts on the current state of pro pool, as he was trying, imo, to do what MR is doing as far as upping player payouts and production value and giving a much needed structure to pro pool. All the other stuff about him aside...

Several years ago we had a poster on here who was convinced he could get to pro speed in a year...I think he ended up quitting the whole sport. Anyone remember him, I cant for the life of me remember his handle...

wasn't this the dude who had the trick dollar bill or quarters at change machines or some such nonsense?

The same thing most foreign World Cup visitors saw...one of the greatest countries in the world.🇺🇸 Heck we have states with economies bigger than most countries. I don't know for a fact, but it hard for me to imagine any other country spend as much on personal recreation than we...

I rented this last night on Prime Video and I agree, it is a must watch. I am going to make my teenager watch it to see what it looks like to refuse to allow circumstances dictate attitude and outcome. Shorty is an inspiration.

Job well done. Folks that have never 3d printed will never know the frustration of terms like spaghetti defects, z-Axis error, warping, etc. In my shop my students run three bambu X1 carbons pretty much all day everyday...nothing more frustrating to them than having a 12-13 hour print fail...

Wasn't a recent tourney held in a mall? There seemed to be people hanging from the rafters. Did they have to buy a ticket to watch? Seems to be cheating if you claim a huge attendance and counting people who were out shopping and just stopped to watch a pool game next to the mall fountain...

Is Atencio officially representing the US in MR events? I would think Francesso-Varner HAS to be in consideration, imo...he's young, and has already won a ranking event I believe. I don't know if I would bet against him vs. either Thorpe or Styer... Reminds me of something my grandpa said to...

my first " real cue" was a red leaf dufferin two piece circa 1990... I bought a house that came with a pool table with 4 red leaf dufferin one piece cues circa 1985...

No, I am curious as to how many times each player gets at the table compared to wnt. It could be as you say, each player averages only one chance at the table. The numbers will show that Casually viewing, it doesn't seem that much different as far as number of times each player gets at the...

I really like seeing the pros at the Table for their first inning, and seeing the wheels turning...the decisions on what set to take, and how to run it out. I don't see how this can be seen as that much less tactical than 9 ball... I have enjoyed this free tourney much more than the last few...

Pretty solid to post that heads up...kudos!

These will solve any slipping problems...not sure how the LVP will hold up though.

To piggyback your point about the recent Cologuard classic...one of the biggest characters of the generation in pro golf is john Daly. John Daly who smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, can still hit it a mile and tells great stories. Golf fans LOVE him. The biggest highlight of the...

Yes it is a conundrum. Great points. Maybe that is what ultimate pool is trying to remedy with the match timers and such. And that, IMO, is the crux of it. Do you try to push 9 ball and keep the pool nuts satisfied, or push the more universally played and recognized game in hope of pulling in...
