The table will be on porcelain tile thats laid on concrete. Rug is quality wool with underlying pad. Size 8.5 x 11.5 It would have 3.75 ft extending past sides and 3.25 on ends of table. Guess issues would be on foot on and one off carpet while shooting and leveling issues

Yes.. what I have been thinking as well... try to have one long rail unobstructed. But with an 8 footer... this may impact the other side too much. I have a feeling I will be ripping some of this wall out this weekend :(
