That's a good idea. I have two shafts from Hightower also. So if the og shaft is a fail I can make a new shaft for it. So far I have three house cues that I have acquired. This particular one is a no-name house cue which is why it's my first sacrifice lol. I have a Dufferin and a Valley House...

im not tied to anything because I can always make a shaft for it if I choose to. It's not like you can only do one shaft. Plus I figure its good practice since it will be my first attempt. I have two turned shafts from Hightower.

The reason i am/was trying to save the shaft is because it's still straight after banging around at a pool hall for at least 10 years. It seems like at this point it ain't warping, no?
