This is referee mistake. If they follow WPA regulations, player can move the ball for lag shot. There is nothing in regulations that prohibit it. Also not mentioned in the tournament protocol and player information leaflet. Not the first time referees have no clue what the rules are, pity also...

Not that I agree with scheduling, though it seems made on purpose to maintain higher number of viewers locally. If Mens finished, guess some may have lost compeltely interest to show up and watch live. Some spectators may show up earlier to watch juniors match, and wait for Ladies 10 Ball or...

Actually there are 3 Main tournaments, but Juniors play in 3 different divisions U17, U19 and Girls. So basically like running 5 different tournaments at the same time. Still, they made it stretched out mercilessly in time All the best, Kris

There are European Pool Championships scheduled 01 June - 11 June, thus both Polish players (Szewczyk and Maciol) chose to play in Finland rather than in UK Open. Possibly some other players might have made similar decision

Well, sounds weird, agree :) Most importantly plays well. I have very different tips on my shafts, main playing shaft is Engage: Engage 11.8mm - Core M, to be replaced soon :) Prime M 12mm - Ultraskin H Prime 12mm - Zand H Prime 11.8mm - Ultraskin M

Core tip is passable at best. Got used to laying with it but Ultraskins were better IMHO. Will change to Ultraskin within net couple weeks. However, the medium I have, does not mushroom too much, holds shape pretty well, most importantly got harder over time spent playing. Kris

The one thing that CSI/Predator does much much better than Matchroom is streaming of the event. Involving Kozoom, especially with free account, is the way to go. 20 tables, you are free to chose which player match you follow. Whereas with Matchroom you are kind of forced to watch the same guys...

Well, yes, indeed, they collect pretty lot of info. They are around for some time now. All Eurotours are streamed via Kozoom. Usually this is 21 tables to chose from. Once registered, and subscription is paid, you have also access to past event (not sure all but at least some) to watch.
