What a way to revive an old thread eh? I was playing a guy last night at Zingale's. He made 7 balls in on the break, including the 9 ball. The only remaining balls on the table were the 3 and the 7. This was on a nine foot, simonis, no shims. Most amazingly lucky break I've seen in the 11...

The tournament was a huge success, and it was wonderful seeing all the great talent in the room. I didn't play in the tournament, but my highlight of the weekend was playing in the mini tournament on Friday and taking out Adam Smith 4-1, single elimination!

I'm tired of my case slipping all over the place when I put it down on hardwood floors. Can someone give me some good suggestions for a 3x5/3x6/4x5/4x6 case that has at least two pockets and rubber feet at the base to prevent sliding? Thanks!

Cue retails new for $459, so you're only taking 30 bucks off the price? I'm interested in purchasing a Mezz, but I'd personally spend an extra 30 bucks and get a brand new one.

Couple of questions. First of all, what's the difference between the OB-1 and the OB Classic, and how come the newer classic isn't listed on OB's website? And, I'd like to buy a Mezz with the WD700 shaft. But I'd also like the option to change out shafts and try out the OB-1 and 314-2 on the...

So the z2 is less forgiving...but is there an upside? Do you find it easier to put side english on the ball and stay accurate due to the low deflection, compared to other shafts?

Still determining which shaft I want next. Immonen plays with the WD700 doesn't he? I thought I saw that somewhere.

What's the best thing to carry around with me to the pool halls that will keep my cue from getting sticky? Q-Wiz works pretty well for that...but if I can replace it I will.
