It was ordered that way from Jacoby cues. As mentioned above by Mark, Jacoby started out with 5/16-14 and eventually switched to Radial. That does not mean they do not make cues with other joint screws. You can order almost anything you from Jacoby as long as they have it.

    TAD cue question

Does anyone know if TAD made any cues with a uniloc joint? I have a chance to buy a TAD and want to make sure he actually used that type of joint. At the time of this post, (TAD’s) Fred’s shop is closed. I will call him tomorrow.

My experience dealing with a well known cue maker

I doubt he even has an account on here. It would probably cause him more trouble than good to be available online to people who would not condone his actions.

My experience dealing with a well known cue maker

Part of what wasn’t included was that I had a small conversation of whether the cue I had repaired was his or not. He told me that his brother produced it in the shop in the late 90s. So I figured I would send a Kew. He made back to him to be repaired. I found out later that it was not his cue...

My experience dealing with a well known cue maker

Unfortunately I read that post about half was into dealing with Mike. Had I seen that before hand, there’s not a chance I would have sent him anything.

Nothing to be sorry about. I should have just named the person from the beginning.

My experience dealing with a well known cue maker

I think your post along with a couple others made the most sense. Thank you for taking the time to lay that out. As mentioned in my updated post, I have no interest in making anyone look bad, but at the same time, it’s not fair to others who might have avoided the same issues had something been...
