    Unindentified Pool Cue

So have I, have a Clint Putman with the exact trim rings, but Clint signs his under the bumper? The veneers look like French veneers and have that translucent appearance. I own a Jimmie Ingram made with a Szamboti blank and it looks identical to this one, another question mark? Thanks for the...

    Unindentified Pool Cue

I just purchase a cue from a friend and the inkling is that it is a Balabushka, remember the word, "inkling". I've had three Balabushka's in my hand, two were purchased from George at his shop and one was purchased in Kokomo, IN, years ago. The cue is as solid and straight as you'd want, it...

Which Wax To Use on Shafts???

I purchased a 12 pack of various waxes a couple of years ago and for me, Mother's Clean and Wax is it. All I do is wipe it on and wipe it off for my shafts. For balls I wipe it on, let it sit till it hazes, wipe it off with a plain old wash rag and have yet to find anything to beat it.

    RIP Jointed Cue

Jointed Cue closure Sad to hear that bit of news, never been there but am not happy with pool room closures. I didn't know Terry but have one of his cues and had it validated with his son David. It's so ironic that we have so many pool players without what you would call national support for...

    Conical Shaft Question

I have over 80 cues and try to play with them all, a task for sure. My question is about the evolvement of tapering a shaft to the conical design with a pro-taper? Just looking for responses of the why it came about and purpose, curious 101 I guess.........Larry in cold Indiana

SALUX System: a new pivot system

Salux, I've been working on your Aiming and have found it intriguing. Have been a CP2CP Aimer for a long time and believe eventually I'll go right back to it, but with these useful insights to get a better "know" of how to line up the shot at hand. So far I've logged in about 20 hours on the...
