    Bore size for rethreading

I if you doing to do it, imo you should remove all the old threads and have full length of new threads for maximum strength. I would bore it out and plug it to the depth that the pin sticks out or more... Sent from my SM-G990U1 using Tapatalk

    Southwest Satin - Extension

Having someone drill and tap a hole in the bottom of a SW is the last thing that should be done. With some SW cues its not possible due to the length and placement of the connecting screw used to joint the base and the grip as they call them. With some it is possible to get an inch or two of...

    Southwest Satin - Extension

I have only ever made one of those so far and it was kind of a proto-type, but it seemed to work well. Hopefully some time in the future I will build a batch of them as there is definitely a demand!

    shaft protector

Thanks John, glad to hear some one thinks so! Lol Anyway, I took the idea from when i worked at Jacoby Cues. They use the inner tubes for every operation when is comes to a finished cue; tip installs, joint replacements, butt cap replacements, you name it. They also finish cut to depth and...

    Viking pins

Glad you found what you needed.... I have almost never seen or heard of a different kind of Viking joint pin that was not their moified 5/16-18 quick release, other than some new custom ordered cues that had radial pins and the old Vikings from the 70s and 80s that used full 5/16-18 and 3/8-10...

    Lathe speed for tips

When trimming and shaping tip with a razor about 1200rpm seems to work the best for me with a fresh blade, when sanding I turn it down to around 750rpm.

    Uniloc joints

Like all your knowledgeable comments I agree, how ever I will add that I just don't like how soft the grade of alloy is that they use for their aluminum screws. It can be bent very easily and has very little memory, they also don't seem to have as good of a surface finish as other aluminum...

    Uniloc joints

Just because a joint screw is "quick release" does not make it "Uni-Lock"!!!!

    WTB RAT

I have an old Meuller cue made by Ryan and Troy that a friend of mine purchased off the website years ago if you might be interested in that? I am asking $450. It is a brown stained merry widow style cue with stitched rings and 5/16-14 pin. If so email me at austinhillcuerepair@gmail.com

I am selling a gently used Taper Shaper and a brand new Inlay Pantograph. Both were bought directly from Unique Products and come with everything included new and even some extras.
