Yes balls yellow after a few years. Cleaning regularly can prolong it but it will eventually happen.

I appreciate you taking the time to see what users actually think. I like the tips but don’t use them because of the glazing issue. I do hit the balls a bit harder as well.

And that’s exactly why we don’t use it because it changes the consistency that everyone is used to. And most people have a little something on the games. We will polish them upon request which doesn’t happen very often.

At the Pool hall we only use ball cleaner. I’m not sure what the point of putting wax or polish on the balls is unless the balls are very old and dull. Once a set gets that old we throw it out?

Over the years, I’ve heard different sides of this. The other side of this I’ve heard of the player does not buy any part of himself that you don’t owe him anything. Then there’s other people that say you know you should give him a little something. I personally would give them a little something.

I just went to the U.S. Open and believe I saw a pro player doing this. U can definitely shoot well doing this.
