Thanks for the input, poolplayer. I probably phrased that badly. I just mean, I see a lot of players talking about waxing their shafts. It seems to be common practice, be it for protection, for feel, etc. Is it safe to wax unsealed wood though? We're on the verge of experiencing consistent 99F...
