Either play safe or cut the 5 to the left into the top right corner pocket. It is an “easier” cut and you don’t lose the cue ball. The side pocket shot is harder and you lose the cue ball completely.

I am very sad to report that Mark Powell died two days ago peacefully in his sleep. Funeral arrangements are pending.
