*** Biggest bar table event ever was? ***

Jay do you know who won in 1990??? I have been trying to find any print on the 1990 Coors version, and am coming up dry. I don't remember who I played in the finals. She won, but second was $4k. Karen Wold got 3rd I believe. No idea what guys got to top in their division. Surprised it did...

    Tipping my hat.

I was feeling sorry for myself for being sick with a weird lingering cold, and doing badly in 2 state tournies during that time. But, staying home so much, I at least got at sorting out my old pool mags. Going through them so steadily gave me a new perspective on a scenario I had known about...

1990 Adolph Coors National event in LasVegas.

Thanks, Well it seems so wild to me that this tournament with a big sponsor, paying very well, never made it to print that I can find. I even asked Coors if they had info, but they didn't. And Mike P from BD didn't have anything. I made the mistake of not writing stuff down, and with a...

Gus Mueller ... Owner/House Pro at Panarama Billiards ...

I just read about him in an old pool magazine of mine. They said he did a trick shot of a 15 ball combination. Did he show you that??

1990 Adolph Coors National event in LasVegas.

So, I am looking for information on this tournament. I don't have any results clipping for it. Was around 7/10/1990. Maybe at the Sahara. Anyone have any knowledge if it had any write ups in any of the magazines ???

    why just in the US?

Yes, I was just watching a NYE, orchestra concert from Vienna, and the host said that Brahms and Strauss played billiards together. I thought that was a fun fact to post, and them was also surprised they limited it to U.S.

Do you know the pool hall or owner involved?

I knew Weenie Beenie from tournaments. It sounds like he won the money playing pool. I got the impression he gambled a bit, so more likely that was as tourneys didn't pay that high.

What is the name of your book? AND,,,, was there ever any print on the 7/10/90 Coors Natl tourney in Vegas? I was working on a pool scrapbook, and could not find anything on that. I played so much I don't remember a ton of stuff, like who I lost to even. Was trying to save my daughter...

Bushwhacker was Gary Nolan. Funny story: Gary was playing JR at tourney in Chicago, and bets were flying, but people got wind that the fix was in, JR was about to take a dump. Gary's folks get clued in and jump on the bets on JR, and Gary left the 9's in the jaws where JR would be ridiculous...
