    UW Madison Fall Pool Interest?!

We'd love to have you. Shoot me a pm when you get here and I'll email you with the league info. If you happen to be in Madison in the meantime after 3pm on a weekday, the Union South pool tables will be available. Our tables aren't quite as pricey as the Brass Ring's, but our cloth is in much...

    UW Madison Fall Pool Interest?!

I love the Brass Ring! Probably the closest thing Madison has left to a legit pool hall. I'll see if I can get a hold of him. However this league will run in the fall, about 2 weeks after classes start.

    UW Madison Fall Pool Interest?!

UW Madison just built a new multi million dollar union that includes a basement games room. We were lucky to get 5 new Brunswick 9 footers. Pro-cut pockets, tournament cloth. Now I just need some players to appreciate it :)

    Lucasi vs. Pechauer

Pechauer all the way. They are my favorite non-Schon cue to come out of Wisconsin (and that includes Viking/McDermott/Jacoby). I've owned 2 Pechauer sneaky petes, a JP series cue, and 2 signature series cues. All great hits. One of my sneaky petes was 15 years old, and hit like new after an $80...

    UW Madison Fall Pool Interest?!

I'm attempting to start up a campus pool league at UW Madison for this coming fall semester. We've had trouble holding consistent attendance in the past, so I'm trying to get a head start on recruiting to see if this league is a feasible project or not. Obviously there is a no...

College Kid w/ $150 On Table, Sell Me a Cue.

I haven't shot with a Schurtz before. Mostly Jackson/Schon/Jacoby/Joss around these parts. Wisconsin is so full of cuemakers that there isn't a large sampling of good custom work from around the US. How do they play?

College Kid w/ $150 On Table, Sell Me a Cue.

Nice deal on a good twig. I'll sit on my thread for a day to see if anything local pops up, but I could see myself swallowing my pride for that well priced Kansas product. Consider yourself in the lead :)

I believe manav wins the thread. I've shot with Players a fair amount. You wont be disappointed.

College Kid w/ $150 On Table, Sell Me a Cue.

Best offer under $150 with shipping sells a cue. I feel like I can get more bang for my buck if I find something here used. I've previously owned a few thousand dollars worth of cues I had to sell for tuition ($1100 for a 3 credit summer course is bullcrap). I learned quickly how much I miss...

    Give me the Cheesehead Sampler

I'm at the point in my pool game where I'm willing to spend some money on a decent production pool cue (under 700) as my main shooting cue. Till this point I've been shooting with a low end Pechauer (JP Series) with the stock 13mm shaft, LePro tip. I'd prefer the cue to be made in Wisconsin...
