Hi and welcome aboard Johnny, bienvenue! I know myself what a long several-year break is. Don't worry, pool's like bicycle : you never forget! :p

    Hi fellows!

Thanks for your help 12310bch! Looking forward to it ;) slang is entirely part a language (I'm not talking only about swearings, but informal words, idoms, phrases). When I teach English, I always add some room for slang in most of lessons. Because I guess that without knowing slang, you just go...

    Hi fellows!

Okie dokie, it'll be +6 hours for France. Looking forward to getting there then, though my home connection isn't that fast sometimes - using a USB device to log on the internet, and sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's low. But I'll give it a try though, just for the chat at least

    Hi fellows!

Thanks for the links. I already know most of English/US terms used for pool, but a dictionnary is always welcome! By the way, your links would be a great help for me as I'm looking forward to editing a French-English pool dictionnary. I've been asked by my coach to be his agent and find him...

    Hello all

Welcome aboard Mike! I like leather carftwork and handmade stuff in general. When I can afford a new case, maybe you'll have some models in stock (provided that you wouldn't mind shipping to France).

Tour management : looking for tips

Thank you for your advice. For the moment I've started by regestering Pro9 forum regarding the UK, where many local/national tournaments are listed for the UK, including also a calendar with other European major events. There are also other European guys on this forum. I've also started some...

Tour management : looking for tips

Hi all, I've recently asked by a friend of mine who is a top French player to become is agent and manage kinda tournament agenda for him outside France in Europe. My friend's getting bored with pool official competitions and other tournaments in France, where pool isn't that popular. Now he's...

    My New Cue...

Oldies but goodies ;) I like old school style too, and traditonal rather than undustrial, high-tech cuemakers. That was one of the reasons why I chose Joss when I changed my play cue. Your cue looks pretty nice

shaft cleaner. what do you use?

I use Cue Doctor shaft cleaner. It works pretty fine, provided that you clean the shaft often. It also cleans up the ferrule.

    Hi fellows!

Thanks all for your warm welcome  Heheh, I knew you were teasing, and I was kinda joking too when apologizing (I mean joking about the serious tone, but I was serious about my opinion on ladies!). It's not that easy sometimes to see if peopel are joking or not via text messages...

    Hi fellows!

Sorry for the ladies. English isn't my mother language, and I often make some mistakes. When saying "hi fellows" I was uncluding lady players as well. So, I do apologize for this misunderstanding. Talking about girls, I think there should be more to play pool. Many ladies around me still feel...

    Hi fellows!

Hi all, My name's Pascal, 35 year-old pool player, from Tours, France. I'm new to this forum, so I thought I should start by saying hello! I've been wandering around on AZBilliards a couple of time before regestering. I've already been on other pool forums such as Billiards Digest's Cue Chalk...
