    Delfection/Spin Methods

Ohhhh, that response is me interpreting most of the replies on here as if I'm struggling with deflection or spinning the cue ball sometimes. I'm not. I just want to get some idea of how other high speed players are doing their thing. I won't air out everything I taught myself because I spent a...

    Delfection/Spin Methods

Okay. I'm not trying to toot my own horn when I say this, but I'm no slouch at the table lol. I'm an unknown, and I prefer to keep it that way. The way I do things at the table is objective. Objective for me creates a consistency and the ability to adjust quickly and more efficiently. Thats my...

    Delfection/Spin Methods

Hey everybody, I'm posting this thread in hopes that I can find a method/approach to improving my game as well as others. My question is regarding deflection. How do you (personally) compensate for deflection? Does hitting english on the lower half of the cue ball differ from english on the...

    Adjustments on Slower Equipment

I'm asking you to trust me when I say I know the difference. These are not diamonds. These are pre-Valley (Dynamo), American Heritage, new adult something, etc. That are not in an environment where they are worth it to be maintained. It's not so much the table manufacturer, it's the incredibly...

    Adjustments on Slower Equipment

Kicking - I will try that! That makes a lot of sense now that I think about it (using above center/high). These last few months I had been using benchmarks and it was so frustrating trying to get a feel for when the cue ball would turn over or lengthen out. Especially going 2 or more cushions. I...

Coin operated? Yes. Bigger cue ball? No I would've known that difference.

    Adjustments on Slower Equipment

Awesome! I had heard Dennis Orcollo mention a smidge of inside on slower tables. But I didn't see a reason as to why one would do that. Thank you!

    Adjustments on Slower Equipment

Hey everybody! :) Let me explain this a little bit. For the most part, I have objective ways of doing things. I have an objective way to sight my shots, aim my shots, where I am hitting the cue ball, patterns, position, etc. And by objective, I mean that I have ways of doing things that aren't...

    70s/80s Era Questions

I agree...I have some, "benchmarks," that are tougher for me to adjust to when going from fast to slow. When the cue ball turns over so quickly, so much is effected. Stun, kicks, bottom action on the cue ball when theres distance, etc.

Thanks for clarifying! It certainly seemed that they did, from my perspective. But I dont know. I did assume that it could just be the standard, at the time. Thanks!
