    Makes me want to quit

Man that is terrible! People can be horrible sometimes. First, I would advise to never refund until you've received your item in the return mail and have checked it out. Second, always insist on insured return mail. You can do this by issuing customer a printable return prepaid postage label...

    Question about Simonis cloth.....

I completely agree! Practice on same to what you compete on. Ideally, same cloth and same rails but the latter is not as easy as the former. Same balls (and condition) helps too, of course. I might add (though this thread is a couple months old) that it is a better idea to re-cloth the rails...

Layout Dimensions for the diamonds on the rail

Actually there be 9 diamonds on the long rail matey. There are 6 marked diamonds, one virtual in each corner pocket and one virtual in the side pocket. This is nine "diamonds" that slice the long side playing dimension into 8 equal segments - rail nose to rail nose.

9' Diamond Pro-Am (single piece slate) delivery report

Folks, I realize this is a very old thread however, the story as it unfolded has left me with a few concerns about buying a Diamond table. (1) WHY was the condition that this table was delivered in considered acceptable? (2) WHY did it take so long? The deposit is non-trivial and could earn...

dr Dave, any experiments with different cue balls?

Minor Correction...and late night ramblings of a bored physicist What you have quoted is the Area Moment of Inertia that corresponds to cross-sectional areas of structural beams and is not moment of inertia of a solid sphere. Ironically, your result is not too far off :scratchhead: The...

    Deciding on a cue

So the predator is better if fuel efficiency is your metric, carmeli is better if you want to fly but not break the sound barrier and have a reasonable chance of survival. ;-) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4

    King Cobra Video..?

A cloth by any other name...should smell so sweet...wait what? Incredible! Makes sense now that I think about the differences in the cloth compositions. Never occurred to me the colors could cause variation. That makes sense too because the dyes are different, their components affect the...

    King Cobra Video..?

Applies to all Simonis Cloth types? Are there variances to the techniques that are unique to each of the Simonis cloths: 760, 860, 860HR? I am sure the techniques differ across cloth manufacturers because RKC told me that himself  but not certain of that among the Simonis "group" of...

    Olhausen playing area

Say What? So how does that work? Who is compliant and who isn't? There's nothing like a standard that...well, isn't! :scratchhead:
