Ok..thx K-Carson..so i will try with Lucasi and other vendors.Hope i get there with my ferrule work :).

I wa able to remove the ferrule , but to my surprise it has a threded tennon (someone here told me that it was not threded), so to repalce it with a new one i have to thread the new ferrule to match the tennon.I think i maybe ask some wood guy here for adivice on threading.What do you guys say...

Yep, those things on ebay look nice, but can i fit an Uni-Loc shaft on one of them?, or maybe they come in uni-loc too ?. I will go hunting for a steel lathe here to see what i can come up with and then i will come back with more questions :)).

Well...i'll have to think about it, i would like to try to do it myself.Being the only one here that have an interrest on this kind of job maybe i can do some extra bucks :).If i can't do it then maybe i will use your help.SO, i want some usefull adivce on removing and replacing one without a lathe.

The problem is that i don;t know what type of tennon does a Lucasi shaft has and so i don;t know how to remove the ferrule in a way that i don't damage the tennon, coz i don;t think i can make a new tennon mtself :).That is why i need a professional advice.Maybe there is someone that can tell me...
