The local bar where our leagues are held out of have tables with spots falling apart. What is the best way to remove an old, dirty, deteriorating spot? Is it as simple as carefully peeling off and re-applying? Or is there some better way. I’d imagine the adhesive will damage the cloth...

Hoping someone on here might be able to comment on my issue. I have a cue companion lathe that recently started to self-loosen (or self-tighten in reverse). It’s the larger bore chuck. It got so bad that I broke the loosening tools trying to loosen it the other day. I’ve since stopped using it...
