I bought a Uniloc QR cheap import cue for $100 on Amazon and matched it up with a $170 Rhino carbon fiber shaft I did change the tip,$10 Precision. Bought a cheap. 1x1 from PoolDawg $25. All In $305 Hits good

I use 3 sets and bring out a clean set after around a month or so. Im cleaning 3 sets about every 3 months. It’s just me and I’m playing around 10-15 hours a week. I keep a clean rag with some polish on it and a clean micro fiber cloth to hand polish as needed, mostly the cue ball.

It looks like they use a titanium joint to make it a little lighter but sizes are the same. It says the carom butts have a straight taper. Is that different from a pool butt?

Is the butt in a Predator carom cue the same as the butt in a pool cue ? I see a carom cue that I like and I can get it butt only. I only play pool .
