    Viking Cue and Shaft Reviews

ViKore Shaft Review I have been playing Predator Z2 shafts on my Joss cue for a few years. I've been very happy with them. I have been wanting a sneaky Pete. As you may or may not know, an actual plain Jane sneaky Pete is hard to come by these days. Most manufacturers decorate them so much that...

    I built a pool table...

That is a line out of one of my favorite movies. Thanks on the brush. I did replace it with something else. Didn't like it. So I went to Lowe's and found the exact same brush. Guess what? It was cheaper than it was 10 years ago. Couldn't believe it.

    I built a pool table...

Framing lumber is notorious for warpage. Hardwoods that us woodworkers normally use isn't nearly as susceptible to the amount of warpage that I was worried about. You are right on the leg attachment issue. It still worries me a bit. But if I have to, I can always add the carriage bolts later...

    I built a pool table...

The lumber was only about $200. More than half of that was in poplar. The framing lumber and plywood were cheap, which was partly the point. Total cost was less than a grand. Building a Table

Speedi, thanks for the advice. I plan on video taping the whole process, which is why I am being so precise with the design instead of perhaps coming up some of the measurements...dynamically (on the fly). I should be able to start on the carcass within the next week.

    Building a Table

Thanks Dartman! Another question; I was drafting the rail profiles using 15 degree vertical pocket angle. This looks like ALOT on paper. Is this correct?

    Building a Table

This is the problem with forums. Just when you think there is a useful thread, someone comes and hijacks it and fills it with useless information. I appreciated the post. It was direct, to the point. Furthermore, the man was willing to assist, which is the point of forums. Thank you! Look Ma...

Awesome info! Thanks! Now can anyone give me some pros and cons on whether to use K55 or K66?

    Building a Table

Does anyone have a subrail diagram for k55 cushions? What face angle is required for the k55 profile?
