You are probably referring to the older Westinghouse micarta that had similar grainy patterns like ivory. I wish I had stocked up years ago. Good luck with search.

I could be wrong, but after 40 yrs of being around cues, every Schon shaft I've seen has the black joint material extended down to the brass nipple so no wood could be seen below black ring. And the fact no name stamp. But they probably had exceptions.

Add more confusion,,, maybe the cue was made for a Mike but not by a Mike or maybe it was made for a Mike by a Mike. We could all start asking all the Mikes we know!

Lucas Tomasetti(sp) from PA was a young upcoming player a few years ago. Not sure if he's over 18 or still playing. He came to IL a few years ago and played in a tourney.
