The ebony and tulipwood combination is hard to beat. I think the ebony cues are my favorites of all I have. I'll bet a layered butterfly splice will look awesome too.

Yep I use this as my main playing cue. I love the way it plays and feels. I couldn't put this in a case and just look a it and not shoot with it.

Thanks for the nice compliment. The hex buttcapp feels great. Doug did a fantastic job on this cue. He deserves all the credit. Wish I was closer so I could hit balls with you guys on Friday nights.

Thanks for the input everybody. I think I'll look into extending my rails. Do the cushions have to be preordered a certain length? Should the side pockets have the same size opening as the corner poekets? Thanks Rackem8

I've got an 8 foot Connelly table with leather pockets. When I bought it the corner pockets were shimmed. They're funnel shaped now meaning 2 balls will fit in the jaws but as you pull them toward the pocket the pocket gets smaller. Would I need new rails to have an opening that was straight...
