I've heard great things about Eddie but didn't think he was less than a 2yr wait. Kent Davis is another name I would add, very similar to a Sugartree.

For your timeframe amd high end builders, Bob Owen builds a fantastic cue and has a great turnaround. I'd second Tascarella as another excellent option as well, particularly for such a well known builder. My experience with Paul Drexler was great too. For mid level cues that receive high praise...

That's a good lead too, thank you! I would prefer to avoid mailing unless necessary, but Seyberts was not a consideration until you mentioned it. I'm surprised I don't have more options in Dallas though. I guess it speaks to the dwindling nature of pool in the US.
