    What glove do you use?

I'm on the 3 seconds band wagon as well, works very well with my watch.

    Anyone using Simones Green cloth?

I use Tournament Green 860 HR on my GC3, I just am not sure I will like Tournament Blue with the copper accents of the table.

    Tiger Cue

I have one of their shafts and it is top notch if you can stand the taper, but the aesthetics of most of their designs aren't my cup of tea.

Best replacement pockets for Gold Crown 3

I finally got my table together and after playing for a few days I have noticed that the pockets that are currently installed not only don't fit very well, they also leave some nasty smudges on the balls. I was looking at these replacements...

So mark that line and just trim that back to the main body of the rail? I was wondering about that. The pockets that were on the table were "trimmed" with what I can only assume was a rather dull butter knife, so I wasn't sure if I should trim them more to fit or if I should cut out relief...

I have a question for all you table mechanics, and part timers as well!

I really wish there were here Glen, the people that do bar table work around here for the amusement companies are awful for the most part. The cloth is always coming loose in the pockets within a month. They never get a good stretch on in. I have recovered my personal valley table twice, once...

Am I seeing correctly that you are making contact on both sides of the fence? That would make a big difference too I bet. Sent from my SM-S515DL using Tapatalk

Well I got brave. The relief cut is a little deep but just a tad. I'll adjust on the next one. Sent from my SM-S515DL using Tapatalk

    Sub-rail adventures...

I thought about it, but honestly that is one of the things that I haven't seen pictures of the process so its kinda scary. If I make a major error then I will.be without a table until I can afford to sent them to someone and that will be March. I assume that really its just routing out the bad...

    Sub-rail adventures...

So maybe the safe approach for me is to leave a little meat on the extension, hand trim the cushion leaving a bit on it as well and then sand to final dimensions? I did notice that my flush cut pull saw does a very nice cut on an old cushion that could easily be sanded to perfect.

Ok I am feeling a little trepidation for cutting the pocket angles with the cushions attached, I really don't want to have to buy a new set of cushions because I did something wrong to one. Any suggestions on how to make that process go smoothly? I was thinking about cutting a blank rail out of...

    Sub-rail adventures...

Everything I am seeing is saying 15°, but I caught some discussion about a shallower angle making the pocket play a little harder, more like a deeper shelf. So I am a little up in the air still, just trying to get the extensions on and then I will figure out the rest. Thanks! Sent from my...

Oh God no, not trying for 4 inch pockets, just used 12mm because, 1 it was available void free, and two I'll be recutting the pocket angles so I wanted plenty of marking space. I'm shooting for somewhere around 4.25 - 4.375 corners. Thanks for the feedback! Sent from my SM-S515DL using Tapatalk
