    Any feedback on this table???

Went to take a look at it tonight, rails were 100% DEAD! For the money that would have to go into making it playable, the seller would have to give it away and they're not willing to do that, so that's that! The search continues!!

    Gold Crown (option #2)

This one is a GCI, but I thought the other one was a II or III because it didn't have plastic aprons

    Gold Crown (option #2)

There's no rail work that's been done - I'm concerned that I might need to do some, and since I can't play on the table b/f purchase (it's disassembled) - I'm pretty nervous about doing the transaction like that. Plenty of horror stories out there!

    Gold Crown (option #1)

Thanks for all the feedback! So it sounds like this one is no good ... which I kind of agree with and the other one under: the Gold Crown (option #2) thread is too expensive - which I also sort of agree with. I think the next step is forget about this one, and let the other guy sit on the GC1...

    Gold Crown (option #2)

No this is a GC 1, the other thread is a 2 or 3. And ya the rail work is what makes me nervous - especially since it's been taken apart so I can't test them!

    Any feedback on this table???

Hey guys, check out the GC under my other post ..... Is that "slim" or "none" ... LOL

    Gold Crown (option #2)

Okay, so this is the GC 1 table that is causing me to think twice about the GC 2 or 3 under the option #1 thread! This table looks beautiful, has been privately owned since new (never spent a day in a hall), has the original bill of sale from 1963, has been professionally painted with a...

    Gold Crown (option #1)

So I'm looking for a table and I've found this Gold Crown (not sure if it's a 2 or 3) - if anyone knows, please comment. It's got a few bumps and bruises, but for it's age it looks pretty good. The aprons could use some TLC, but that's an easy fix. The guy selling it has had it for 3 years...

    Any feedback on this table???

Hello, and yes I do know the difference ... and like I said in the intro, I grew-up playing (both 8-ball and snooker) on a Brunswick with snooker pockets. "British 8-ball" or "English pool" is played on a table with "snooker pockets" - so I'm very familiar with playing on a table like that, as...

    Any feedback on this table???

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, I'm going to have a look at the table tonight, but I think I might hold out for a GC. I've come across a couple of GC options that are a little more $$, but I think will be worth it in the long-run.

    Any feedback on this table???

I'm hoping that somebody might be able to help me identify the model of this National brand pool table and give me any kind of an opinion on its quality. It is a 4 1/2 x 9 foot table and I've attached a few pictures so you can see what it looks like. I know it's not in the same league as a GC or...

    Help ID' ing a National 4 1/2 x 9 Table

I'm hoping that somebody might be able to help me identify the model and approximate manufacturing year of a National brand pool table. It is a 4 1/2 x 9 foot table and I've attached a few pictures so you can see what it looks like. I'm hoping that if I can determine a model and a time period...
