Went to take a look at it tonight, rails were 100% DEAD! For the money that would have to go into making it playable, the seller would have to give it away and they're not willing to do that, so that's that! The search continues!!

This one is a GCI, but I thought the other one was a II or III because it didn't have plastic aprons

There's no rail work that's been done - I'm concerned that I might need to do some, and since I can't play on the table b/f purchase (it's disassembled) - I'm pretty nervous about doing the transaction like that. Plenty of horror stories out there!

Thanks for all the feedback! So it sounds like this one is no good ... which I kind of agree with and the other one under: the Gold Crown (option #2) thread is too expensive - which I also sort of agree with. I think the next step is forget about this one, and let the other guy sit on the GC1...

No this is a GC 1, the other thread is a 2 or 3. And ya the rail work is what makes me nervous - especially since it's been taken apart so I can't test them!

So I'm looking for a table and I've found this Gold Crown (not sure if it's a 2 or 3) - if anyone knows, please comment. It's got a few bumps and bruises, but for it's age it looks pretty good. The aprons could use some TLC, but that's an easy fix. The guy selling it has had it for 3 years...
