It is, but the slate is 3 piece. So in theory the slate is only 4.5'x3'. We only have 2-3 stairs total to deal with, hopefully it won't be too much trouble.
Good idea with the labeling and separate bags, will definitely do that. The wood pallet is also a fantastic idea, I am going to try and find one I can borrow. I never thought of renting (vs. buying) the moving blankets, that's brilliant.
Thanks Scott!
The travel is going to be about 2 hours in total, mostly highway. Should I think about trying to stand them upright, or would stacking them flat with mover-blankets in between be alright?
Thanks Josh, great info! I think this is actually a table you delivered & set up a few years ago.
I have read to expect each slate piece to be about 300 lbs...is that far off?
Fair enough. I am not too concerned with hurting myself, I think 3 young men can handle a 3-piece slate table without too much trouble. I am slightly concerned with damaging the table. I am going to continue doing some research into the best methods for packing the various pieces into the truck...
Not sure as it's my buddy's truck, but he says it's rated to have 3,000 lbs in the bed, over 10k for towing. I don't think the table weighs over 3,000 lbs, do you guys?
I am purchasing a used 9' Diamond Professional table, and would like to see if I can move it myself. It has a 3-piece slate, so I am not too concerned about moving or having room in the truck for those.
What I am unfamiliar with is the frame of the table. Can it be broken down into smaller...
Hey everyone...I'm looking at purchasing a used pool table and I would like help identifying the table. I'm pretty sure it's a Gold Crown, but I have no idea which generation it is.
If anyone could help identify it, that would be great. Feel free to weigh in on whether or not you think it's...
