Survived? I don't know, so many pool halls have shut down since the smoking bi-laws came into effect in Ontario. I know many owners who fault the no smoking policy as the cause of their demise. p.s. I don't smoke and hate that stuff.

I think Alex also said in that interview, are you willing to give up your job? Are you willing to be 10 hours a day in a pool hall? You get as good as the amount of constructive time you put on the table.
