Does anyone know what year the first Schon Elite was produced? I own a Schon Elite #1 and can't find that information anywhere. Schon wants $20 to tell me. Nuts to that.

Wrong image. The first image was of the E1 in Masassar Rosewood. My cue is made of Macassar Ebony. Correct image attached.
Only 7 Schon Elite #1's were made. However, some of the 7 were rosewood and some were ebony. I don't know how many of each were made.

I have a Schon Elite #1, the first Schon in the Elite series ever made. It originally retailled for $3000. The image I am including is from an old Schon website. If you are interested please send me better photos of your cue and I'll do the same.

Here is more information on your cue.
E39 is made from Cocobolo, Elephant Ivory and Abalone shell. Listed new for $2700.00/linen $2800.00/leather. The waybackmachine shows this cue to be made and sold for the first time in January 2008
