You might just have a million dollar idea there!

But what if you put a harder tip on a house cue? Then it would hit just as hard! Just bring a hard tip with you to the bar. And then tape it over top of the leather tip on the bar cue. Then remove it when you leave. And bring it again next time.

Im pretty sure it is just glued on. I had a buddy who has a lathe is his garage change the tip for me on it. And he wouldn't be skilled enough do do anything but a simple glue on tip.
