This is really great. I definitely didn’t smack the cue around too much. I don’t really hear any vibration. So my guess it’s the old maple shaft and ferrule making a noise that I’m just not used to.
I’ll need to find a cue-smith near me to help me investigate. I do feel like I’m getting used to the noise. I also believe that even though the noise is odd on extreme english shots I don’t think it’s impacting the shot. If you know what I mean.
Ok cool. Ya I guess a ping sound is what I’m hearing. It’s definitely higher pitched than when I hit a standard center ball shot.
Seems like maybe I just play with it for a while and get used to it.
