At the 7:00 mark of this video, Predator themselves recommend to apply CA glue, Loctite 495 specifically, to the edges. The video is 3 years old, I was wondering if any other good options exist since it seems to be tough to find near me.

It has come to my attention that some cuemakers and repair persons use CA glue to seal the edges of the tip. I'm assuming this glue needs to have some decent flexibility for it not to crack. What specific glue do you use?

What do you guys think is the best finishing grit for shafts? Some will say "the slicker, the better" but in my experience a shaft can get too glass-like and when you introduce a bit of moisture, it sticks and won't glide effortlessly.

Revos are a little rough for my taste, I can feel a drag. I play with a glove and I'm wondering at what grit sandpaper can I wet sand in order to make a shaft feel the slickest. I feel the absolute best is somewhere between 1500, 2000 or 2500. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It is dimethicone, a form of silicone "oil". You can also find it in personal lube. It will attract dirt over time, since it's oily/wet. I found it's very slick when freshly applied, but it quickly creates stiction when going back and forth.
