A few months ago I installed new simonis 860 cloth on my table and I've noticed most of the billiard balls have black marks or streaks on them. The balls are standard billiard balls that came with my brunswick table.
What causes this since the balls have never been off the table?
Leather...
If a table needs to adjusted by shimming the slate sections does the cloth need to be removed before shimming? If so can the cloth be reused after releveled or it be replaced? The cloth is fairly new and the table frame and slate needs to be releveled.

fixing the slate seams
Is fixing the slate seams a major problem? Or just a problem that is easily fixed by an experienced table mechanic?
What normally causes the slate seams to split?
Thanks again!
Dave
I've got a 07/08 9ft brunswick bradford model that has a line showing through the cloth. When I run my fingers across the line I can feel a raised ridge and assume the slate pieces are not leveled. Balls make a noise when they run across it as well. Could this be faulty slate or just a bad...
Does it really matter what table size you play on a consistent basis?
Would it be more helpful in developing a better game to play more on a regulation 9ft than a 7ft barbox?

What are some good places to shoot in downtown Chicago? I'll be going there in early October for a training class and need some place to relax afterward.
First time visiting Chicago as well.
Thanks Guys!
Yeah, no changing of the software. I just want grab the database files (I think dBASE III) that hold the stats and import them into MySQL to execute some queries on the web. It'll be alot cleaner and easier for the league operators to maintain the player/team stats.
I'm trying to do away with PDF reports on our APA league website and use database statistics instead. Does anyone know what FMS database files I need to use and export? I can write all the necessary code and queries needed to accomplish this task.
Thanks,
sknyppy

Have a good one!

What database format does the APA use in their system to store the league information? I was looking to write an interface to extract and display team information for our local APA website.
Thanks
