I have a Robin Dodson "Tadpole" jump cue and would like to get some joint protectors for it. I checked with Robin ( via email ) and
they don't sell them with their cues. I was hoping that some of you could help me out hunting down a set. I'm not even sure
what the thread count is on the cue...
I think if you want an "expensive cue" to play with or just collect—the difference in quality and construction of said cue
is where you would rate one cue over the other.
IE: Cue A is priced at $2000 and ( for argument sake ) the points are more accurate or has more exotic inlays than
Cue B...
Not sure I know what you're referring to but, I saw this the other day:

Hope it helps!
LOVE this cue ( it would be a shame to cover up that great looking wood with a wrap...imo )!!
Any other detailed pics of the inlays!?
EDIT: Is your Pasadena location a store front where people can come in and look at what you have for sale?
I'm in LA and would like to take a peek at your cues.
Hi Robin!
I just got your Tadpole jump cue and I'm currently waiting for your DVD. Hope it comes soon since I have a few questions
about how to "groom" the tip...or if it's even needed ( hope that is in the DVD! ).
I'm looking forward to practicing and actually use it in a game to get a little...
Just an update...
So I actually ran into the player who was selling that cue. Only problem was I played him in a league game and won
before I had a chance to ask him about it. So I'll have to ask another time.
.
Take this as you will ( thought I'd try to help ):

You can add full sized photos (which I'm sure you've seen )...
Or even add a link to photo albums like this:

Or individual clickable...
