can open your own pool room! How would you do it? What kind of pool tables? What kind of cloth, balls, lights, house cues? Would you put in a billiard table, snooker table, russian pyramid table, bar tables, a 10 footer perhaps? Would it be a player's room or banger's room? Leagues...

Over the years people have always had open invitations to play. For example; So and so says I'll play anybody in the world for such and such. Can anyone elaborate on some of these open invitations, past and present.

We all have lived, eat and breathed pool at one time or another, but have you ever actually lived in a pool room or know any one? maybe after getting kicked out by a girlfriend or room mates.

Would the person who broke the record become synonymous with the outside billiard world? Or would they remain known only to the hardcore billiards community?
