This is good advice, I bought mine from the mechanic that installed them in the pool hall new, and he pulled them to replace them with VII's.
Mine does not have bronze castings. I believe he said he originally installed it around 04, 05, 06, something like that, so definitely a later GCIV.

I feel your pain. I stopped from early 2000's until last year. It has been tough for me to play well for sure. I have enjoyed searching for and buying cues though. I was never a world beater or anything but was sure better than I am now.
Well I am not as nice as Mr. CajunPopeye, I hope they don't sell at all. Why anyone would carry a chinese knockoff of an American company is beyond me. I'd be surprised if you got any action here.
