I wish I could take credit for them, but this is Mark Gregory's work. The subrails were in pretty bad shape and I had him redo them and replace the nut plates.
I started to chip away at the Formica with a lot of heat applied and wasn't getting very far. I found a local wood worker that ended up sanding it off, then put on the Walnut veneer. I think they turned out looking very good.

I ended up stripping the Formica off the rails (because they were so beat up) and redoing them in Walnut. I also did the legs and aprons in Walnut so they all match. Sorry I don't have a stain for you since I pretty much started from scratch.

I’m starting to reassemble my Anniversary table now. It’s been a long process but I did have some rail work done by Mark Gregory and worked a deal with the local wood shop on the legs, aprons, and rail surfaces. I think it’s going to look and play outstanding. I’ll post some pictures shortly...

I'm in the process of rebuilding/refreshing a Brunswick Anniversary table I recently picked up. My big hurdle currently is the formica on the rails. All along the feather stripping it's dented. Some one really did a job on it.
