    Dumb people sometimes make the best players

    I do not think that intelligence can be accurately measured. There are too many types of 'intelligence' that are not tested on the supposedly good IQ tests. Some types of intelligence cannot be measured as well. And the statistics used to develop the tests are flawed, anyway. Laura

    chin on the cue or a more upright stance? (more stuff to argue about)

    I stopped thinking about my stance, how far I am over the cue, grip, etc., a long time ago. I just aim, line up, get down on the shot and shoot. It seems to me, though that whatever is comfortable is most important. I do not really see an advantage either way, when watching good players. :cool...

    Events in the DC area

    I was looking at the different tours and things on this site, and found little scheduled here. Here in Frederick, there is this handicapped 8 ball event on saturdays, but I wanted to play in 9 ball ones, preferably non handicapped and double elimination. I was dissapointed to see that CAT had...

    Fred Agnir not liking Predator anymore

    I played with a predator cue for awhile, but I did not like the way it was weighted. Nothing against how it played. Anyway, when I sold it and got the scruggs, I was expecting a big difference in the performance of the shaft. Other than the fact that the scruggs was better balanced and I liked...

    what other pool forums do you guys like

    Hey Susan. I read that and got a good laugh. A good laugh at myself from over two years ago. I never had any problem with you that I recall, or if I did, I forgot it long ago, and I certainly do remember your good posts. GEEZ. That comment by you was minor. I told Ray last night that the...

    if----->then

    I do not know how to put them on a site, but with an ipod and the free windows version of itunes, you can load your fav cds into itunes, synchs to the ipod when you plug it up. Or music from the ipod synchs directly into itunes. I think it is easy with that software to tell the software to make...

    if----->then

    Great spin, JR I have gained high amateur proficiency at karate and tennis when I was younger. I did take piano lessons when I was young but could never make myself practice because I got bored.I have often regretted that , because I love piano, it is my favorite instrumental music to listen...

    Stance/stroke and big boobs problem?

    Barbara is right. Even though I am not big breasted, I had an instuctor to tell me to use them as a guide, but found that contact with them during the stroke caused to cue to bump out, creating an inconsistent stroke. I found that I had to have that cue swingly freely,but not cocked out either...

    Good point wally. Many of you I have not met in person, but it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that there are many nice people on ccb and on az. Good to see you. Hope you are doing well with your pool. Laura
