What Game Are U.S Players Best At?

I think there is a short list of players who are favorites…. WU, big KO, Shane, Darren (in tournament play)….. I don't really think there is a single "favorite" in a tournament like the world 9 ball championships etc… I also think it is pretty hard to discount or write off Shane's dominance at...

What Game Are U.S Players Best At?

I think SVB is the straight favorite in 9 ball 10 ball depending on the format. I don't see people lining up to play him long races for big cash. That is a legitimate format that demonstrates a lot about the talent levels of the players. If by "world play" you mean playing at the "worlds"...

Just asking for a little direction

One quick thought. Take the time to play the BEST patterns possible. If you go to 19:04 in the video you have ball in hand with 5 balls on the table. You are obviously a good player and playing patterns….. but I think you could take the time to play the best/easiest patterns. Over a course of...

The 5th Best One Pocket player in the world...

One person that seems to get very little traction in these types of threads is Justin Hall, and he plays fantastic one pocket. I also think that Justin Bergman is very underrated one pocket player.

How good do you have to be to beat the 9 ball ghost?

It depends on how much you are gambling per game playing the Ghost. If you are under pressure when playing the ghost it really is as good of practice as playing against another competitor. Granted, you aren' playing safe, kicking, or jumping….. but its still really great practice playing against...

How good do you have to be to beat the 9 ball ghost?

Gotcha….Then I agree… You can be able to beat the ghost and still get destroyed by a top pro player. That is why I asked the question earlier about players such as Danny Smith or Shane McMinn.. GREAT players…… but can both be spotted by the TOP pro's in rotation games I'm sure….. After...

How good do you have to be to beat the 9 ball ghost?

Either: 1. You are not actually terrible. or. 2. You can not beat the 9 ball ghost most of the time or play the 10 ball ghost even. Terrible and these types of skill sets are mutually exclusive.

Very good B player or solid A?

So using this rating system…. where would you put a player like… Shane McMinn or Danny Smith (Playing 9/10 ball)?

Very good B player or solid A?

Question. When you ask if he is an A player….. what does the rating scale look like. C, B, A, AA, AAA, PRO?

John Morra can beat any American for the Dough

I know that you know both players pretty well… Don't you think that Bergman is favored (probably slightly) against John in a long session of 10 ball?

Earl Strickland vs. Darren Appleton May 6th, 7th and 8th

The only way this could get better is if they make Darren use all of the same equipment that Earl does. I'm talking arm weights, EarMuffs, long cue etc…...
