    Ultimate Pool USA Boston Shootout

Hi, I'm the CEO of Ultimate Pool USA, I can assure you, we don't pay anyone to play. What we do offer all players is an environment built for players by players. SVB for example watched our events and asked if he could come play. The events are designed to support our league product, however...

Alain Robidoux vs Left Handed O'Sullivan

A few weeks ago I recorded a career retrospective podcast with Alain Robidoux in which he talks in depth about his career for the first time. Everything is covered including what happened to his cue etc. We also have a podcast on there with Billy Snaddon which is a great trip down snooker...

    Cue make and specialisations?

I used a 10mm Powerglide Maple Connoisseur 1 piece for a few months for pool and it was a nightmare, made me look like Judd Trump with the spin I was getting. With the Woolridge, I've just had it for so long I know how to control the white better with it, screw and side shots are ok with it...

    Cue make and specialisations?

Cheers Greg! Dan (my co host) uses a Mac Chambers cue and it is absolutely lovely. I had a cue made by a new cue maker called Scott Devlin, not suitable for pool, but is such a nice snooker cue.

    Cue make and specialisations?

I have a Mike Wooldridge cue made in 2005, 57.5 inches long with a 9.5mm tip. I used a Wally West cue before that.

Something is wrong with Team USA

I for one really hope for a US pool resurgence. I for one would never have played 9 Ball in my life it wasn't for the Mosconi Cup. In fact, neither would a lot of the UK players who have competed in the event, before the Mosconi you never saw a full sized American table in the UK. It has...

Something is wrong with Team USA

We had Emily on our Mosconi Preview show, let me say this hand on heart, she wants that American team to be as competitive as it can be. Believe me, she genuinely has a love for pool and enhanced prize money for Matchroom Events may make more American players take the game more seriously, or if...

Something is wrong with Team USA

For those who are close to the amateur scene, where is the next breed of US players coming from? Barring a complete miracle, I can't see the US winning the Mosconi for at least 3 or 4 years. What must be a worry was the lack of discipline in that US Team. Players on their mobile phones during...
