Yeah, my first thought was, that it looks a bit like Curly Hawaiian Koa. I am normally not a huge fan of stained maple, too. But after seeing and playing with it, I had to buy it [emoji16] What I absolutely love, are these rings above and below the wrap. @all Thanks for the nice comments...

Hi folks, got my 1st highend-ish cue. "Just" a plain one, but with some nice curly maple in it. Let the pictures speak for themselves. I simply love this cue. Cheers, Marcel
