As sjm also said...for a historical, legendary Chicago, not suburban, pool room, Chris's is by far the right choice. And, since I notice that you're from England, it may interest you to know that Chris's has 2 excellent 6/12 snooker tables - no other Chicago poolrooms has that.

Yes, you can definitely learn a lot, and greatly reduce the learning curve in the game of one pocket by taking lessons from an extremely knowledgeable one pocket player/instructor who is also a great communicator. The person who I know personally that fits that description is azb.member 1 Pocket...
