Has anyone on the Forum played this version of Billiards. It looks interesting although I have only seen a few YouTube clips, but I’d like to know more about the rules.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. Playing every day must take almost military discipline. I played pretty much every day for a time when I was at college: usually in the evenings as I played Rugby in the afternoon. I spent so much time on sport that I don't know how I got any work done.

It's very sad for all concerned. The main argument for keeping the Royals is that the alternative is worse. Whatever our political views or however we vote, none of us would want President Boris!

English Billiards, with three balls (lots of room for double entendre I know)!

I’ve seen several versions of it and it does stand the test of time except if you’re politically correct. Some of the military sketches involving Segeant Majors are still funny as well - and familiar to me as I was in the Corps as a student.

I found it hilariously funny back in the day but now a lot of it seems dated.
