This sounds like the way to go. Do you have a suggestion about what to use to plug the 3/4?

I have a Nick Varner cue that I'd like to find a rear extension for. It has a 3/4 inch bumper and I'm hoping to find something that'll fit that size opening. I'd really rather not use one of those PVC-style slip-ons unless I really have to.
