Did you bondo in place of beeswax previously? How did you insure all the wax was off?

I have a Brunswick Sport King that I’m getting ready to redo. I’ve always used beeswax but lately I’ve been reading where Bondo is better for older tables. What’s everyone’s thoughts on using Bondo for an older table?
