I've never wore a glove. I find wood shafts get more sticky and quicker than any carbon shaft I've used and my hands tend to sweat. My favorite is my Whyte Carbon that is the dull black color before they were bought by triple60.

I've got one of the Whyte Carbon 11.75 shafts before they were triple 60 . It's the raw black . I like it and the interchangeable joint seems quality not hardware store stuff at all. I've also got a newer white one but I like the surface of the raw black one better.

Are you certain about this? I had heard the black label was the same as a blue label. Never mind I went back and looked and I was remembering wrong.
