    Idea for a training ball

The Jim Rempe training ball is indeed marked at the quarters and eighths. I have been using it for ProOne training and have seen a significant improvement.

CTE/Pro One Practice Table Set Up 2

Bump, I know this thread is probably spent, but I don't want to make a new one. Just want some quick input on my above questions.

CTE/Pro One Practice Table Set Up 2

I don't want to jinx anything... But I ~think~ I am starting to get the hang of the visuals and pivots/sweeps. I started using my Jim Rempe training ball since its marked at the quarters and eights. Turns out I have been lining up my A/C shots with the area in between A and 1/8th & C and 1/8th...

CTE/Pro One Practice Table Set Up 2

I am somewhat in the same boat with IamCalvin06. While yes it seems like trolling at times, a lot of the questions he brings to the table are also questions that I have. I am just reluctant to ask them because I have seen the responses. I don't understand this system at all. Sometimes it...

    CTE/Pro One Practice Tip

Are you right handed or left? Right or left eye dominant? A lot of the tips you've mentioned have helped me a bit. For me, it too seems that my challenge is getting that footwork/stance/alignment down. Left cuts still come easier to me. And I am thinking that this may partially be because of...

    Pro One: Need help

Yes I do have DVD-1. I know some shots, even though the visual is the same (eg: CTE with ETA) will use either a left or right sweep depending on where you want it to go. My problem is that I can't tell the difference between doing a left or right sweep/pivot/whatever. So for me its the same...

    Pro One: Need help

Currently, for left cuts, I have my back right foot on the CTE line and I dont move my body until I move in to shoot. My process for shooting (and this is still experimental until I can get the system down) is: Pick my shot. Ok, cut to the left. Get the center-to-right-edge line, back right...

    DVD 2 of PRO 1/CTE

I would like to see some over-the-shoulder and point-of-view camera angles. That's one thing that threw me off from DVD1, was that the camera angle was from a spectator perspective of standing across from the shooter.

    Pro One: Need help

Well, for a cut to the left, for the most part my body is to the left of the CTE line, and I usually have my back right foot on this line. I think I have a better understanding of the offset and stance thing. Would you say that I am correct in where my eyes are going when it comes time to...

    Pro One: Need help

So its cool to keep my visual that uses the CTE line thats straight in front of me? (pic 2 of original post) I just did a few experiments using the visual offset and it didnt work out too well.

Edge to A, B and C Heres one with a little extra offset to the CTE right, and Edge to A, B and C. Might have to start using PNG images, JPGs are blurring a bit heh.
