Uni lock insert

Installing a uni lock insert into phenolic it says to tap with 7/16-20, but the pitch on the insert is 14. I may be crazy but....What am I missing other than getting a 7/16-14?

Standard Uni-Loc inserts are 7/16-20. Needing a .390" minor for the threads and .444" minor for the barrel part.
I believe I have seen aftermarket Uni-loc inserts with a 7/16-14 thread.

The official uniloc instructions say tap with 7/16x20.....but Where did you order the insert from? There are, as stated above, after market inserts that have a 7/16x14 which are now the only ones I use. If your insert is 7/16x14....then tap baby...tap it at that!

Yeah they are definitely aftermarket. I found a few that I had. I have such a hard time trying to post pics on this site

They are some old inserts i found, so tap baby tap
